Can’t wait! Always so much fun! I also can’t believe it will be 10 years since the first Gathering! (Although we did skip a year or two in there someplace!).

Just to to see if it worked, posting this from my phone... ?

Wow, I still have my shirt as well.  Next year will be the 10th anniversary (kind of).

Once we get the discussion board running then I'll get the registration page up for the conference.

Hope all is well.

Would you believe I just came across my shirt within the past couple of weeks! I had forgotten about it. I also have the 2nd style that was available in both black and white (the style that is screened on both the front and the back).

Wow,  Sorry to hear about the reduced pay.  The peace of mind to have your weekends & evenings free sounds priceless.

Looking forward to this years conference. Are there any recommendations on area hotels?  Where is everyone planning on staying? My wife and I will be attending this year,  it would be nice to stay in the same hotel as others as Jen will likely not attend classes with us,  ( she is a supportive angel but has her limits lol) .

Stade :)

I believe Steve has struck a deal with Trevecca to let us stay in the dorms. I think the cost is $60 a night. I will send Steve a note to confirm this (just in case I dreamed it up).

If I did dream it up, I am staying in Franklin. :)

Dave, that would be outstanding if we could!!

Last year we stayed 10 minutes up the road in a LaQuinta.... very basic, but close, local streets to get there, and reasonable $$.

Steve confirmed the Trevecca rooms - the cost will be $60 per person a night. The only real downside is that everyone has to be checked out of the rooms by noon on Friday. Apparently, Trevecca is hosting a big summer camp that weekend.

Hmm... If the hubby comes along, that might not be much of a savings... I'll have to think on this... I guess I could get a room at the LaQuinta for Friday and Saturday nights.  It would be nice to all be in the same place!

I will see Steve this weekend and will verify that the cost is per person (seems like it should be per room).

Spose question:  If spouse is not participating, but joins me during the day, there is the $99 spouse charge?

That is exactly what I said last year.  I'm hesitant to say it again this year!  (But I am hopeful:/)

I really want to come to  the next one. But I have my best friend to take care of and she can't come. She is geriatric now and I don't leave her alone. When she passes I will be taking a road trip to one of these conferences.

Steve, Is there any talk (or thoughts) about Corey Congilio coming back this year?

He is a great presenter-educator. I would love to see him back.

Just a shout out  to forum buddies-if you want to have 4 days of fun with friends and great instructors, jump onboard this train. All levels of skill are welcome there. Nashville, Guitar Gathering, Gruhns, Steve Krenz.....it doesn't get better than this.

Well gang, unfortunately it looks like my wife and I will not be attending the Guitar Gathering this year.  I had some unforeseen medical expenses last week that more or less emptied my ready cash fund that I planned to use for the trip.

I hate to miss it again this year but life keeps getting in the way.  Hopefully we will see everyone in 2019.

Aw, Steve, I'm so sorry you can't make it this year. :( Yes, sometimes, life gets in the way. Keep the faith, and bring us a song in 2019.
