Theme:  "Feeling Good"

Description:  Any song that is about feeling good or that makes you feel good.

Deadline: 11:59 PM PST  May 31, 2018

SUBMITTING: To complete the challenge, record an eligible song and reply to this thread with your your direct-linked or embedded track (Soundcloud's great) before the end of the month.

GUITAR REQUIREMENT: You must play at least one real guitar track heard in the mix.

GEAR: All content must be recorded with your home studio equipment. You may use BIAB or loops as long as you play the majority of the song with your real guitar. This is a guitar playing challenge not a sampling/recording challenge so keep that in mind.

TIME: A recording made at any time before the entry deadline counts, but do not enter a recording in more than one challenge.

ONE ENTRY per person or collaboration. But, I doubt anybody will complain if you want to share another on-theme track too.

NEXT THEME: The person to choose next month's theme will be chosen randomly from those who complete this challenge.

Howdy folks, 

Been awhile since i recorded anything, the band thing eats up a lot of time.  We are taking a break from our Sunday gigs so i ll try and use this time for recording, that's a game of its own! 

well, this my entry for this month. My buddy did the lead vocal track for me and for my myself on (drums,bass,ryth guitar, lead guitar and backup vocals).

I did, its hard to get everyone together when i record. I played drums in JR high and High School. I didnt pick up the guitar tell later in life, and when i did playing bass was part of the learning process.

Sweet, great song! never heard it before  but just added it to my iTunes collection. Impressive performance, Danny, and I hear you about lack of recording time. I almost need a vacation from my music commitments as I am dealing with 2 separate musical ensembles learning totally different songs for each, and an evening blues jammers class at a local community college. I don't know how my wife is putting up with it, but she's a sweetheart.

Congrats at a very nice recording. I hope we hear more of them from you.

Beautiful song! I just listened to it a couple of times through headphones and the sound is really great.

It has a nice hook and catches the ear.

Although the lyrics are rather about being unhappy, I have chosen this Jimmy Hendrix song for the monthly recording challenge because I like his playing style so much. Learning to play this kind of mixed rythm and lead guitar with chord  embellishments is very rewarding.

Thanks, Danny. I wanted to record some songs with solo's before ending Session 19 and moving on to the final Session 20. I am working on Fleetwood Mac's Albatross now. Do you have plans to finalize Session 19 soon?
