sThis months topic comes from me. As we are now in October the month where some countries have halloween lets do a song that is either spooky, scary or silly.

Have fun!

1) Nutty 1 "My Ding A Ling"

2) Nutty 1 "Welcome to my Nightmare"

3) Wim VD1 with "Bang Bang"

I thought I would start us off early with a silly song. 🎊 "My Ding A Ling" 🔔by David Bartholomew, covered by Chuck Berry in 1972. Incidentally Mary Whitehouse tried to get this song banned in the UK, it is a song about silver bells hanging on a string, what was she thinking!!!😂

Nutty 1 you are full of surprises!!! This is one song I did not expect to see here. Thanks! Thanks for the reminder and clarification of the ding-a-ling too. I worked with a guy who used to sing this regularly and loudly while stocking yogurt. Without explanation, of course.

@Nutty 1 Clever version of this silly song. I like your guitar.

Thank you Randy, she is a smaller bodied guitar, nice and light weight. The chords in the song are easy so it was a good one for me to practice arpeggios which migrated into strumming and the more complex strumming. Part of my learning about how to make a song build.

I like the spooky tremolo sound in Nancy Sinatra's "Bang Bang".

I'm not very familiar with minor chord progressions, and this is an interesting one starting from Fm.

Wim.
