  3. Some weeks ago, I recorded an accoustic version of Misty. So I thought this would fit here as well.

  4. Studying this, it looks like there are different versions of it: There is a Classic rock version and the Sweetwater description says, " Vox amPlug Classic Rock G2 headphone guitar amplifier, and enjoy some authentic rock 'n' roll guitar tone. " There is a G2 versions which states, " Vox amPlug AC30 G2 headphone guitar amplifier, and enjoy some authentic British Invasion tone. " And there is a Metal version, which states, " Vox amPlug Metal G2 headphone guitar amplifier, and enjoy some authentic metallic grind. " There is also a Bass version. Hmmmm. I'm guessing I'm going with the British tone one. (Maybe I should figure out my looper that I got for Chrsitmas and haven't plugged in yet before getting another toy. Naaa.)

  5. Thought I’d spice up Griff’s Fretboard Diagram PDF with my own. If; in addition to the black, red and blue dots; you want to visualize the forms in terms of intervals like this: Feel free to download my two PDF files: Five Major Blues Forms.pdf Five Minor Blues Forms.pdf

  6. Yes you are right, the main course is now £14.99 here in the UK but the Vocal Warm Ups course is still free as I type this! Hummm I bet my husband would have paid it for me too (and possibly this forum would have passed the hat around for me also!).

  7. It doesn't seem to be free any longer but it is only $11.99. Well worth it. It says that price is only good for 3 hours which, of course, is the digital version of late night shopping channels, "Call now!" But I'm signing up at that price. If I had time I could threaten some people around me, friends, wife, etc. with my singing and they would pay it. But I'm just going to sign up

  8. Hi everyone, I have been working through some training resources from 'Udemy'. There is a lot of rubbish on there, but I have found two courses that I think are excellent and very good value for money. One of them is a course on using Logic Pro X, a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software from Apple for recording, editing and mixing music. The software is immense, with lots of features you'll probably never use and the whole process of recording and mixing can be confusing and time consuming if you don't know what you're doing. The course I've been looking at is called 'Music + Audio Production in Logic Pro X - The Complete Guide'. There are 14.5 hours of video instruction, with each video lasting typically 3 to 12 minutes. I found it really helpful that the video shows the guy's screen as he actually talks you through various tasks in the software. I have learned so many useful tips and would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who is using Logic Pro X. Ian

  9. You may find it easier once we have the drums, bass and guitar recorded, especially the guitar. NB. Don't forget that my recording was purely to demonstrate the song structure; I have done my part in this collaboration so someone else will be playing the rhythm guitar part and that means the feel of the song is likely to be different.

  10. OK I've come up with some lyric ideas. Let me know what you think... All the leaves are brown And the sky is grey... Just kidding. Working on it though. Harder to do than expected.

  11. LOL. Punk is my favorite because it is completely accurate, especially the ending.

  12. Have you set up a box account for upload contributions, as we used in previous collaborations? Syncing could be an issue without one. Fretless may still have an active link. Greg

  13. Currently, my recording facilities are not favourable and I’m still focusing on practicing jazz etudes, but since the theme is fitting I thought I’d use my old recordings. This is really old stuff. I recorded those almost 5 years ago for a couple of initial monthly challenges. It’s kind of funny for me to listen to these amateurish attempts today. I really should take some time to rerecord them to find out if I’m still dying of laughter listening to them. “Blowing In The Wind” Bonus track “Yesterday” should probably stay home.

  15. I hope this month Has as many contributors as last month, what a great turnout! Thanks for taking the time to keep it going uncle hammy and thanks for this months challenge Watson43. I Hope this is ok.. it’s an electro-nylon played through a Roland mobile AC amp. The audio was recorded live outdoors, direct to the mics of a Zoom H4n. The loop was created live on a boss RC3. It’s a little promo vid I made for my wedding services. It was recorded in my garden a couple of weeks ago. There are lots of timing mistakes, bum notes, and I even wandered off at one point. But you don’t have to be perfect for people to enjoy what you do. ??? Mark

  16. This book has been helpful. There are some fun rhythms and a CD to play along with. Still slaving away with this skill! The CD is somewhat helping with changing chords in time but I'm still way off.
