Well, I don't like to say favorite! But this is the guitar that still stuns me whenever I get it out. A PRS Hollowbody II.

Here is a piece to get the ball rolling. It’s by Tarrega and it is called Adalita. It is a constant work in progress for me, and a fall back piece if I’m running out of ideas at a wedding. I hope you enjoy it.

My favourite is a 1989 Korean Squier strat. Sometimes you're lucky enough to find a guitar that feels and plays just right for you. This is the one guitar that I'd never part with. These "S" serial Squiers are becoming quite sought after these days.

Hello all, It's 1:20am in the morning and I couldn't sleep so I'm at the computer hanging out and answering questions on the discussion board. It's been a long time since the board was a wonderfully fun, engaging, friend-filled place that I could go on any time of day or night and find activity and friends. Too long. For the first time in a long time, the discussion board is, once again, an exciting place. And, I'm so ready to finally move on from the limitations and neglect of the Legacy board - to finally have something of our own, to build and enjoy. While this new board has a ton of new bells and whistles, I realize that the real heart of the board is not in all of that - but that it's in you - the people. Just good people trying to learn guitar and enjoy each other's company and the support and encouragement it brings. Learning can be a lonely endeavor - each day, you, your guitar, and the current mountain you're working on meet to struggle and eventually conquer. It helps to have a group around to cheer you on and help. That's what our community has always been about. I hope that this community begins to thrive, find it's own rhythm, and humor - it's own cast of characters. I want this to be a place of encouragement, information and support for the old timers as well as the new folks passing through. My hope is that the fun and camaraderie of this place will reach many people who aren't here yet. There's a lot of learning guitarists out there that need what we have here. The online learning world is full of hecklers, charlatans and cynics. We desperately need more educators, coaches and cheer-leaders. That's what our little guitar family has always had and I'm so, so proud to be a part of it. - Steve

Hi guys, So I found a really cool web site/teaching tool. The teacher is Scott Sharp. He reminds a lot of Steve in how much he LOVES Music and is so generous with his time and gifts! I found his site because of the Tenor guitar I recently bought as well as the Baritone Ukulele I got from my youngest son. His site has different books and freebies for those instruments as well as others and one of the others is 6 string guitar! Most of what he teaches is really music theory and applicable to EVERY instrument. I had a question and he told me to call him. So here me and a stranger from Kansas had a 45 minute conversation about music theory. I told him about Steve and this wonderful course too. Guys, I think I know what the problem is. I had several bits of media on the guitargathering.com site including both of those pdfs. The guitargathering.com site is currently offline while we are troubleshooting a problem. I didn't realize that it would make those links not work. I'll upload the PDFs to this site.
