  1. Interesting to read. I have been reading on the modes and the moods that are related to each. This will relate into the mix nicely. Thanks Nutty1.
  2. I use the D'Addario strings on my SG. I love them, they sound great. I have a set of D'Addario on my Yamaha acoustic as well. On my Martin, I use their Retro strings.
  3. I don't know how many of you follow Justin Johnson's work, but I do.I kind of like his unique take.
  4. Thank you for all of your hard work Steve. The new forum is a great place and only getting better. I did notice that you tried extra hard to make Canadians welcome. Your Members Map is in French.....
  5. I firmly believe that washing your hands before playing your guitar will extend your stings lifetime as well.
  6. Is it digital. I have never heard of them. I hope you enjoy it.
  7. About the same time we figure out what "Louie Louie" means.......
  8. Bridge of Sighs, the CD has Bridge of Sighs, A little Bit of Sympathy, The Fool and Me, Too Rolling Stoned, Day of the Eagle etc...... the CD is in my car, not the song. It is a GREAT CD! One epic guitar song after another. Robin Trower at his best. It doesn't feel dated at all. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I still play some Procal Harem as well
  9. Robin Trower has been one of my favourite guitar slingers. Bridge of Sighs is still on my Play List in my car and at home.
  10. You could always use your weather to get tourist dollars.
  11. I just noticed, in a John Lee Hooker video for Boom Boom, he is playing an Epiphone guitar. Grainy, not sure of the model. Boom! Boom! - John Lee Hooker.mp4
  12. This Martin is acoustic electric, and 3" width. They come right handed Easier on the shoulders than a Dred.
  13. A beautiful guitar Doug. And that inlay work, just beautiful. What does it sound like?
  14. You could use the ole "Mississippi Drum Machine"
  15. If I called my guitars anything, it would be "Patient". Patient for putting up with my attempts to play them.........
  16. That's why I don't listen to country music backwards. I REALLY don't want my ex back!
  17. Mmmmmm but then there is "I Am The Walrus"......
  18. A bit harder for a lefty, you don't get to try them out first. But I do have a question for Greg.I am thinking of getting a nylon string guitar with a wider nut for finger style. Cordoba has a lefty the GK Negra (Cordoba GUFLCOR-05285 GK Studio). Are you familiar with these guitars? I have heard that Cordoba has a problem with fret buzz on the 12th fret. I know that nylon strings have more vibration and slack, but is this a real problem with Cordobas?
  19. Or How To Tell When Someone Studies Music Theory Too Long...............
  20. They won't do a Lefty, I'm safe...................
  21. Hey Blue: Now these are Fiddlers, Cape Breton style. That's in Canada for you Yanks. https://youtu.be/xx9f9IGQq7w
