Mandy, I am really impressed at the difference between your original and remixed versions. It shows that you are listening and mixing well. It is an impressive composition and lovely playing, both guitar and harmonica. Well done!

Thank you @UncleHammy, @Oldjock and @Randy120 for your kind comments. I am glad that you like the harmonica, it is an instrument that I have just started learning and I am really enjoying it. I realise that the mix that I first did of this song was pretty terrible, in fact i find it quite uncomfortable to listen to ?so I have done another where I softened the vocals and reduced the volume a bit. Sorry about that guys, it is testimony to the theory that if you work on something for too long it starts sounding good when it is not.?

I hope that this one is better! By the way it is an original, based on a blues in A (because I can still play that on guitar!).

 

I am still having a problem with my hands, my fingers are still difficult to bend and the joint locking is still present but not so violent or as frequent now. I am continuing with the physiotherapy and occasional use of a topical anti-inflammatory. Hence my learning harmonica now.

The remix is so good Mandy! Great job. I’m glad that your hands are feeling a bit better, hopefully they continue to improve. Loving the harmonica. ??

Nutty1 here on yet another user account. 

Thank you all for your kind comments on my new mix, they are much appreciated.

Every time I start a new account it is a matter of only a few minutes before I am no longer able to reply to threads.  This is my last ditch attempt at getting it to work, I have set up a new email address and this user account on a brand new Android tablet.  So I will soon be able to tell if it is an Apple incompatibility issue.

@Nutty too What browser are you using? I have intermittent problem using EDGE were I can't type a reply or make a new post. I reboot the Windows 10 PC and it works. It doesn't happen often now, but I have seen it a few times. You can try Chrome or Firefox to see if they perform better. I have tried other browsers, but none of them worked flawlessly so I just keep using EDGE. I doubt your account is the problem. Try a reboot when the issue happens.

I am on Chrome at the moment on the Android tablet and this is the longest that a new profile has worked for me so far. I previously used Safari and Puffin on the iPad and a friend tried several browsers on his laptop with no magic fix.

 I will go back to Nutty1 on the iPad and see if the reboot works.

@Nutty 2 Were you seeing the "Reply to this topic" prompt, but you couldn't type in the field?  That is what I experienced. I assumed it was growing pains for EDGE. The Internet is moving to HTML5 which gives new capabilities, and some new problems which should improve eventually.

Unfortunately restarting the iPad did not kick Nutty1 back into life, but if this new profile that  I set up on the Android continues to work then I will be happy.  ?

Yes, I could actually highlight the words "Reply to this topic"  it was as if the iPad saw it as a bit of text.

@Nutty 2 Well it is a strange issue. I assumed it was a problem with Edge or some minor issue on my system. Since a reboot always solved the problem. So we are not alone and it probably is not your account. 

P.S. You can highlight any text you see on the screen and copy or paste just like in a word processor. If you can't select some text it is because it is embedded in a photo.
