All these Birds all Have some thing in common. Narrow Mindedness. It's ok to have a favorite kind of music. Problem is If you shut your self off from The others. Then you are limiting your enjoyment. Because its all tied to gather. Ernie Ball

I didn't explain why I use a .38 pick it is because I can use it to strum and I can choke up on it and make it harder when picking notes. release it and back to strumming. or you can bend it to make it harder, one fit all . I like that

Hi Uncle Hammy, I use the same picks but only the .38. I find it does every thing I need . and real easy to pick 16 th notes. when I was young before grade school I had a guitar and we cut picks out of milk jugs to use. any thing bigger fells like it's ripping the string off the guitar

Try the Marshall amp on the computer screen and chose the Marshall 4 /12 stack . you have to turn down the gain .they have it all the way up . But sounds Great should sound really great on your tube amp. and on the mustang 111. -

You can Down load any one of the presets from 1000'S in fuse and save them on your computer and when if you want to play black Sabbath just go to the fuse program. import black Sabbath from your saved file in your computer and you have it. there are 1000'S to chose from some good ones and some bad one you can use them and see how they sound before you have to save them . The new Boss katana amps work better as far as adding pedals because you can down load them . add more stuff with 57 pedals . and you don't have to go back to the site no more your done. -

I just logged in to fender fuse and went straight in . . Load the Cd and down load the program. the first time you hook up your amp to the computer. If you can not log in on your old account make a new one. and write down your password. if you get in down load all you can and save it to your computer. If you cant get in let me know and I will give you my stuff so you can get in. Ps went to profile checked amp then went to the forum all works. -

I have fender Fuse but I down loaded all the setting I wanted . have not tried to log in lately . Will try next week when I get back to Nc where my laptop is and see . But you can still program the amp from your computer can't you. -
Hi Mike , Here is a tip you can use mite help with the nut. Loosen up the G and B string. Clean the graphite off and take the D string or the A string of the old set and run it back and forth in the G and B groove a few time and it should widen it out. try not to pull down lust straight back and forth. Re graphite back up and replace strings P.s Check the tuners and make sure they are tight even the screws that hold the knobs on if it has them and the two metal tabs that hold the strings down. make sure they are straight. when changing string check tuner a see if they are loose. I have took my tuners a part and greased them with a Q tip.

If She has the capo on the first fret . then the second fret is the first fret.

You can take any music piece and read it to a set 40 on the metronome , read it forward and backwards read two bar forward and the next two backwards. that is what the book I have teaches you .I starts out 1/4 notes then up to 16t notes . and you try to read head and say the notes on time .

Set the G and B string Back to the right tone. are flat and see if it come back up to sharp are right tone. when they are sharp are they sharp at the 12th fret to. if not then the intonation is off. you might have to set the intonation a few times to get it right as the guitar will adjust to the climate. Good Luck.
-
You might have to pencil the nut to get some graphite on it. and set the trem flush with the body and set it back by turning the screws the same amount of turns each side. They say that the trem should when pull out or up should change the note played up one note and some people say two notes. mine is set one note about a 1/8 inche. if that don't fix it then is probably the nut. Good luck.

Martin Man here two. I have tried to play Taylor guitars and Gibson Guitar. but never found but one I liked and that one was the one Steve plays. Because on the 1 3/4 neck. I know that they are not set up . and probably would like them after set up. But the price stops that. cant afford the take chances on them working out. I like Martins. Blueridge . and Takamine ( but they are heavy .) I like a deep bass guitar . and I can fix the high side with strings. But I don't like my new martin DC Aura Gt with the Aura Plus. It has 12 Different sound mics to chose from and its just to much. all to bright. Will be sending it down the road soon But still a Martin Fan -
Hi KR Ullrich, I just installed a Lr Baggs Element In my Blueridge Br 40 and it sounds great on all my amps . I have a martin with sonecore Fishman pick up. A Blueridge Br 140 with LR bags anthem in it. A Martin Dc aura GT with a Fishman aura plus in it . and I'll be frank the L R Baggs pickups are by far the best. They work with all amps, sound great . The Fishman sounds good. But not as clear and detailed as the L R Baggs . Gibson installs L R Baggs In Their acoustic guitars. Steve's guitar has L R Baggs in it . The Anthem has a pick up and mic. and you get the sound of the pick some times. The element Is a under saddle pickup with a Volume And tone control. With out the pick noise. with all the different set ups that I have here . I will list them in order of best to worst. 1. LR Baggs Element 2. Lr Baggs Anthem. 3. Fish man Aura Plus. 4. Fishman Sonecore. I have had six Guitar with the fishman pickups in them and have sold them all. The amp list that the Lr bags sound good on. Peavey Acoustic 20 watt amp. Fender Princeton 65 watt. Traynor Tube amp40 watt. Katana 50 watt amp Mustang two amp. I like it so much that I will never buy another Acoustic electric guitar again. I will just install a LR Baggs pickup. The Blueridge br 40 with the Lr Baggs Element is the most played guitar I have. and the cheapest one I have. and that's funny. and kinda Sad. a 350.00 Dollar Guitar sounds better then a 2399.00 martin Guitar. Hope this helps in Choosing the right pickup. Blue Dog

I see Guitar center had it listed wrong Sweetwater has it listed as a 1 3/4 nut you good. I have a DC Aura GT, and a DX1RAE. The Dc is 1 3/4 nut and the DX is 1 11/16 nut. .The DC great for finger picking and strumming . the DX just pick picking and strumming. Good Luck.
