Sadly, today I learned of the passing of Nokie Edwards, the lead/bass for the Ventures. The Ventures were one of my favourite bands in the sixties. Telestar, Pipeline and especially Apache were my favourite songs.

Sorry to hear. A number of us attended a benefit concert for him at the summer Guitar Gathering several years ago.

Yes, my husband and I were just talking about that night. So glad we got to see that! 

An amazing man.... may he rest in peace.

Nice article in Premier Guitar Magazine.  One of the favorite songs of my teenage years was "Walk Don't Run".
