  1. I have been following the Eagles since before they were the Eagles and they were singing and playing behind Linda Ronstadt. The songs original version on radio and LP was written by Glenn Frey and Jackson Browne in 1972. "Well I'm Standin' on the corner of Winslow AZ, such a fine sight to see, its a girl my lord in a Flat Bed Ford, Slowin' down to take a look at me". There may be other versions out on the street and Jackson Browne may have used some different lyrics playing locally in LA since that is the music scene he and the Eagles grew up in. You never know with music. Covers get tinkered with and version get tinkered with to fit a town or a venue that a band is play in. Here is lyrics taken of sheet music of original version- Well, I'm a-standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona Such a fine sight to see It's a girl, my Lord, in a flat-bed Ford Slowin' down to take a look at me

  3. I remember, nutty1, when you were having a tough time strumming. This rendition, to me, demonstrates spectacular progress. Top marks!

  4. @Nutty 1 Well done 🙂 Fingerstyle is a real challenge... You're nearly there on this song; just a bit more polish and you've got it down pat. I've seen quite an improvement in your playing too.. N

  5. Here is me having a go at Simon and Garfunkel's Scarborough Fair on my Cordoba F7. This arrangement is by Muriel Anderson. I have been learning this on and off for months now, it is far from perfect. It has been a long and hard journey for me but I am really pleased to have got it this far. Do not adjust your sets folks, it is a rough recording in mono. I used one microphone into the Scarlet 2i2.

  6. Pahrump, now there’s a town waiting for a song. Not many places can boast of buried treasure, (6 million in silver, if I remember correctly ) murder and a book with connections to Dylan’s song Positively 4th St. The only thing missing, it’s not on ET highway.
