Just like @Eracer_Team-DougH , practicing in his car or out back under the trees at work. I think Doug used to play his "$50 Strat' while walking in the park near his house.... I just hope this guy doesnt walk into a moving car.

@NeilES335 I agree we don't want any guitar players getting crushed because they are not paying attention to their environment. Watch those crosswalks people.

I know in some places pedestrians can be fined for "distracted walking ' by gazing at their cell phones while crossing a busy streets ( which has sadly resulted in several fatalities) ... I guitar player... much the same I'd think.

@NeilES335 actually for the park path walk (yrs ago before the dog)  I used a $1500 MIA Strat to practice the 5 pentatonic scales.

Its A lot harder then it seems to walk the trails and play.

You think I'd be able to "Rip" the pent's but nope, my standard level

I took Steve and Bill's suggestion from last week.  I do 45 minutes of practice and then walk on my treadmill for 10 minutes.  It has been working great.  I clock over 2 miles a day and I have no idea how much guitar time.  I may study, work on a song, or practice.

Prior to changing I was doing 2 hour blocks and then taking an hour to walk or do the Canadian 5BX plan exercises.  I'm still doing everything but just in shorter time spurts.  I think it really works better.  Can't wait to see how it will work once I am back in school.

Yeah well if someone has to get run over while multitasking, I'd rather them be playing guitar rather than looking at their phone. lol
