I really like using a thumb pick!  Got used to it as I started to learn banjo, and it seemed fairly easy to get used to.  The one I use for banjo is getting pretty worn down so I may ask Santa for a bluechip thumb pick for Christmas!

Those are some cool links! I really like the top link - the 12 bar blues progression he shows is great! I will definitely be trying to learn that!!

I have two bluechip picks, one is a regular shape, medium thickness and the other is one of their larger picks.  I really like both of them, the larger one is very comfortable and easy to hold. 

But, that being said, if you are one who loses picks, these are not going to be great for you! At first I was very nervous using them!  They are pricey for picks! The reason I want a thumb pick is that they wear so much better than the regular thumb picks when playing banjo.
