Topic: Solutions for Boring Chords

7pm Central Time US

You can watch the lesson HERE.

Tired of playing the same old way?   Bored with your own playing?

Let's learn some quick, simple ways to take basic chords and turn them into something memorable.  There's more to do than just strum along with a chord progression.  With a little help you can learn to create guitar parts that shine!

There will be music, laughs, giveaways and more.  I look forward to seeing you there!

Watch on our Guitar Gathering YouTube Channel HERE

Great! This will merge well with the lmg course session 12 which I'm currently working on... some very cool sounding chords! For those of you who wish Ia preview I suggest you look up S12.

HI STEVE;

MANY OF US HAVE HEARD OF, OR KNOW SOME OF THE MORE COMMON CHORD PROGRESSIONS, LIKE THE 1 - 4 - 5,  THE 2 - 5 - 1, AND 1 - 6 - 2 - 5 .  COULD YOU PLEASE DEMONSTRATE/EXPLAIN SOME OTHER COMMONLY (AND NOT SO COMMONLY) USED PROGRESSIONS?

ALSO, PERHAPS YOU COULD SHOW SOME INTERESTING LICKS AND FILLS, TO MAKE THE PROGRESSION(S) MORE INTERESTING AND MUSICAL?

Thanks!

Hey gang,

So sorry about tonight.  Don't know what the technical problems were.  We'll run it down and have it worked out for next week.  We might even do the same show because there were some great things I wanted to cover.  Maybe I'll even get a chance to write out my examples.

I sincerely apologize.  It could be our end, the storms Nashville is currently having or a host of other things.

Thanks for your patience.

Steve Microsoft Up loads update on the first Tuesday of every month, if you have not used your computer that day , and use it at lesion time then it will updated during your show. and take for ever. You said it did yours before the show. But its every first Tuesday of the month. and you never know what time it does it. so you might have to avoid that day,

I think we will try to do the show again on next Tuesday.  It just cut out too much.

Well, I'm not pleased that you had problems. But, selfishly, it worked out well for me! I couldn't make last week's but there is a fairly good chance I can make the upcoming one.

I would love for you to redo last weeks live lesson Steve. There was a lot of good stuff that I needed.

I believe you are correct, however since then Steve has done several shows that in my opinion, would cover this topic. For example last week's show on the Money Chords. You could send Steve a PM is you wish.
