I had just about forgotten the F shape on the neck until I noticed the chords  in “Wipe Out”. I also thought that song would be a fun way to practice alternating  picking.

Looking at my phone was small but I went oh open chords, a number of people would poo poo it cause of the “open cowboy chords”

then I zoomed in and went oh, not open chords per se , I see the C on looks like 8th fret

I bought this DOT Sufaris album from my neighbor for a dollar early 1967, loved it and I played it over and over in our basement. The first time I remember hearing the song was at a hamburger restaurant, either a Top-Hat or White Castle. The Jukebox  was connected to the ceiling mounted speakers and as a 6th grader I thought that getting the sound from so many directions was REALLY cool.

I downloaded the musicnotes sheet music, THANKS @Triple-o for bringing this our attention !
