Diane, I associated Keith with COBBLER and we BOTH were grand prize winners although not the Cordoba guitar many were holding out for. Well pleased with my new amp can't wait to get it cranking. Hope you had a good trip and enjoyed the assorted leaves showing out their colors, Kentucky can be so beautiful in October too. Thanks for the good pictures, you took some that I wished I had done. Like @Mike Hoodenpyle and @Steve Krenz says I bet it plays like a dream. I'm with @jasn standing in line to get a chance to play it or at least hear it this fall at the retreat. I like the iteration of "neck of an electric" , could be an acoustic guitar slogan. BTW, I saw where Sweetwater has a Taylor case for $299 with free shipping if you are looking. I have been a fan of the Ventures and the Safaris since the late sixties. Green Onion, Walk don't Run and of course WIPEOUT for me is early Rock and Roll. I found the Wiki- article on Cadence very interesting. Thanks for posting the link. Have a look at Marcelo Berestovoy's video to learn the 8 right hand moves for this basic strum. This will make the nails of the right hand get smoother quick. I love this music that showcases the acoustic guitar.

Hello there Gary, It's like a $40 motorcycle helmet protecting one's bean-head skull. I think it's worth going the extra measures to protect or mitigate damages to the contents. I remember this case from the retreat and it was something Steve K said he flew with without hesitation. I think Steve K AND Diane B could describe helpful hints for traveling with instruments during a live lesson. I like it, the Bourgeois looks secure and cozy. I'd want to try one of these and possibly a GEIB case later. Gene C

Thanks for the ongoing posts Diane, the pictures of the wonderful venue are great. The Faculty is impressive and I am sure the classes are intense, immersive, and informative. Lots of I's for Pat and Vanna's same letter puzzle. Seems these retreats always end too quickly, Enjoy yourself!

THANKS @DianeB and @Nancy Lawing for bringing guitarist Maddie Rice to my attention, I made a concerted effort to find her in the band that I otherwise would have missed without this string. She has been in 2 SNL shows that I've seen since I read this. As Nancy pointed out you could see she has the fingers for it and I hope they will bring her out front more to feature some of her playing. Kinda like they did with GE Smith occasionally.
