I started the Learn & Master Guitar course in 2012, and I'm currently in session 10 (fingerstyle). I attended the Gathering conferences from 2015 to 2023, the Fall Fingerstyle Retreats from 2018 to 2025, and Guitar Intensives in Maine in 2024 and 2025. I'm retired from teaching college chemistry. Along with all the physical sciences, I've long been interested in writing, photography, graphic design and publishing, archaeology, and the 1939-40 NY World's Fair. Favorite guitarist? Pat Metheny.
