  1. Great call Mandy! Ian has already set a high bar. This is this seasons most requested Brides entrance. Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect”. I recorded it on my phone into GB and there is a lot of background noise. There are also two bass notes that are way more forceful then intended, but it is just the guitar played acoustically. I did double the track to increase the volume a bit. The photo was taken at a recent wedding I played in Marbella, “I love my office!” Mark

  2. Yes, I've noticed this as well. It's been down for over a month. I could send an email regarding it but I doubt it would do any good. The company that I once lived and loved and poured my life into so dearly Legacy Learning Systems has moved on. They are no longer in the music education business - on to other endeavors. They'll keep discounting and selling the remaining Learn and Master courses until the last one sells. It's profoundly sad but not surprising that they have let the old discussion board dissolve. But, I'm so happy that we have the new discussion board here and the continued life and learning that we are all a part of. Thankful for all of you. - Steve

  3. Here's a draft version of a new original song I've been working on. It's called 'Picture on My Phone' and it was just recorded on my iPhone, complete with errors! Ian

  4. I lo-o-o-ve my Fishman Loudbox Mini, paired with an L R Baggs Anthem pickup in my Guild dreadnought. It has a second channel for a vocal microphone. I'm a chemist, so this is very scientific data, Ron @matonanjin 😉

  5. I was always somewhat under the impression, based on very unscientific data, that the Fishman amps were the "gold standard" for acoustic amps.

  6. Congrats. I got to borrow a PR from a buddy, so got to play one for a while. It's a really killer little amp. I'm pretty much digital now, but my main amp model is the Fender Deluxe which is the closest thing in the Helix to that Princeton.

  7. I am travelling regularly for work and manage to take my Traveller Guitar with me most of the times. It looks like a headless Steinberger, weighs only 1.4 Kg. and fits into a suitcase. The laprest and arm support visible on the picture are own-made modifications that can be screwed on. At this very moment I am on holidays in France with the family and play my Traveler Guitar almost daily 😀. Wim.

  8. @Texaspackerfan and @Nutty 1, I am also thinking of doing some "playing on the porch" and record it. 1 track, no special effects, just like @mark_h. Wim.
