I saw Robben Ford live many years ago and he was playing through his Dumble. It sounded great, BUT, to me, it's really just a bunch of corksniffing. It's more the mystery and romance of the brand than anything else. As someone already said, paying that kind of money for an amp is obscene. play what sounds good to you an d you can afford. The rest is just fodder for a good discussion!2 points

It's been written that most of these amps are not for Beginner's playing on 2 on the volume Dumble, TrainWreck, Jim Kelly amp's they need to be played close to full volume to get the amp to open up and 'bloom' as they've been described.1 point
