Are you sure? Must be an old rerun in your area. Not according to the schedule, and Joe is not listed as having appeared on Jimmy Kimmel this year. My local listings match the show's web site.

Yeah, I'm sure.  But I misunderstood the email from Joe when I posted.  He wasn't the musical guest, the one that always closes the show.  He joined, sat in with, the band for the show.

Sorry if my post was confusing.  But there is a very good reason for that.  I was confused!

Yup saw on his Facebook and Twitter feeds, just sitting in

These shows never feature him/band, 

Gets about 30sec air time on these guest spots. 

I recorded the show need to see that $50,000 Dumble amp with a $300,00 59 plugged into it, watch tonight

Ohh, I get it. Thanks for the clarification. That seems to be a thing on late night now, with Steven Colbert having St. Vincent, James Taylor, and Joe Walsh do the same. Just a marketing hook to bring in more eyeballs. 🤨

@DianeB actually not the "hook" in this case.

Kimmel didn't advertise 

Only ones that knew Joe was on , was those following him on social media.
