  1. Thanks for your nice comments, @IanD, @Randy120, @Nutty 1,@mark_h and @WATSON43. Wim.
  2. This is my 2 minute version of a Pink Floyd song. Wim.
  3. Hey Ian, that is a very sweet cover. I enjoyed it a lot! Wim.
  4. Hey Danny, I like it. It has a great groove. Did you play the drums on a drum kit or did you program it? One fine day I would like to learn to play bass guitar as well. Wim.
  5. Here, there and everywhere... beautiful love song, Mark. Great choice for a wedding. Wim.
  6. Great instrumental, Danny! I hope your voice is better by now. The production is also done so well. I was wondering how many hours of work you put in, to get it at this level. Wim.
  7. Beautiful, @WATSON43! Because of your cover of this month, I have added James Taylor to my Spotify playlist 🙂
  8. Thanks, @WATSON43. Status Quo were big in UK and Europe in the seventies and eighties and famous for their boogie woogie rock and roll. Wim.
  9. Hi Steve, I have a question. How did Rick learn to play? Did he get any music education, or did he learn by try and error and by listening to others? And how does he maintain his playing technique now? Thanks, Wim.
  10. Welcome and thanks, @DianeB and @NeilES335! Wim.
  11. Great lesson with some unexpected new insights. Thanks, Randy.
  12. @pkotof, Welcome, Phil. West African playing, that sounds interesting! I have been listening to Ali Farka Toure in the past. I never tried this style, but it sounds like lots of arpeggios played high in the neck. What are your favorite artists in this style? Wim.
  13. And now something completely different... I always wanted to rock like Status Quo. The intro was tricky to count, and the speed of the short solo was a challenge. But so much fun to learn. Wim.
  14. Great to hear from you again, Mark. Beautiful song you posted. I like the added strings. Thanks for sharing. Wim
  15. Very nice, Kevin. Your voice makes me think of Cat Stevens. Wim.
  16. I would be happy to listen to your bass recordings. Bring them on 😀. Wim
  17. Greet tune, CapM. it perfectly fits to the weather here in Belgium this morning. We are having some early spring sunny days right now. Wim.
  18. You are a singer songwriter now, Mandy! Nice song, I like it. Btw, I like red guitars, too 😀 Wim.
  19. That sounds great, Danny and I wished I could sing like you! How did you play the lap steel guitar parts? Wim.
  20. This was a real fun one to learn and I like the fact that this solo is played all over the neck. It is my final BGU recording. Now that I have learned all these licks, it is time to work on my blues improvisation skills. Thanks for listening, Wim
