I'm in Ontario, Canada from a very small rural town. Nearly retired age 63 now, looking forward to fully retiring very soon. I played a little guitar in high school but never really got past basic chords. Life intervened and 40 some odd years, 3 careers and two grown children later, I pulled my old guitar out of the closet ( yes i kept it all these years) and took up playing again. Discovered Steve's Learn and Master Guitar shortly after. 

Really enjoying playing guitar again and slowly progressing through the course at my own pace. Currently struggling with barre chords but I can see how learning them will definitely elevate my playing to another level. 

I've slowly been saving up for components to set up a small home studio to try my hand at recording and editing my own playing. Big learning curve there I have found! Still, each practice I try to learn something new and keep moving ahead. 

As they say, its all about the journey!
