Guitar Gathering 2020 Cancelled
Steve Krenz replied to Steve Krenz's topic in Guitar Gathering Conferences & Retreats
Thanks Revster, I admit it's disappointing. But I want to make sure everyone is safe. We'll all make it through and I look forward to days again where we can all gather again together and make music. Thanks for being the best guitar family in the world. -Steve -
Dear Friends, It is with an extremely heavy heart we have been forced to postpone our Guitar Gathering conference until next year. Due to recent spike's in the coronavirus cases all over the country and in Tennessee, yesterday, Nashville's mayor rolled back the openings back to Phase 2 which prohibits gatherings of over 25 people for the foreseeable future. (Earlier in the week, Tennessee governor put out an executive order tightening up restrictions as well.) My first concern is everyone's safety and health. Please realize that I've tried for months to hold our little conference together against mounting virus storm clouds but yesterdays mayoral mandate is one I cannot overcome. I sincerely apologize for the number of problems this causes. Unfortunately this is a city-wide mandate and our hands are tied. Again, I sincerely apologize for this unavoidable change in plans. Thank you so much for being a great part of our guitar family and I look forward to an amazing conference next year when this is all behind us. Sincerely, Steve
