  1. Hi folks . I had to replace my front door last week and it came with a new lock. so i had to get new keys made. My old key was a strat guitar key . and the back door is a acoustic guitar key. so i thought i show the to you in case you would like them. the old ones i got from ace hardware .   2. Thank everyone. I like Ice9 idea and will look for a cheap used guitar and replace parts. This way I will understand the procedure and what to get and what not to get. Then I will get a kit that way I can get frustrated with it just not fitting together rather than fit and parts. Have a great one.

  4. @matonanjin The best way to know is to check your user manual, or the Fender website. I notice they recommend Bullet strings which would exclude pretty much every other string made. I changed strings on my friends Strat and it had no problem with standard 10's. You can use many types and gauges of string, but the guitar may need to be adjusted for different gauges. Almost 10 years now and no string breaks.
