Missing part on head stock

I actually found the small missing item, but was wondering if this is what's normally called a bushing? 
As you can see it's just a cover really. There seems to be enough space in there to insert these?

Yes - your missing piece is a bushing. Do you have a local guitar shop you can take it to? They likely have a stock of extra bushings that would fit your guitar. Should be a quick fix.
