  1. Are there some acoustic guitar pickups/preamps that don't need batteries? Refering to my Ktone Roundback guitar I get no sound when I plug it in. I did try and peek under the screws of the volume control, but I am thinking the wires lead to the pickups/input jack??
  2. I actually found the small missing item, but was wondering if this is what's normally called a bushing? As you can see it's just a cover really. There seems to be enough space in there to insert these? 12 Pieces Guitar Tuner Bushings Set Ferrules for Vintage Guitar DIY Parts | eBay Am I mistaken? Yes, I know it's a cheap Ktone. Shoot me!
  3. What are your goto steel strings for your acoustic guitar? Brand and size?
  4. I imagine that the different roundback guitars have different body depths. If I am correct the depth corresponds to how a guitar sounds: deeper would be more of bassier tone while a shallow depth would be a lighter tone?
  5. "What do you mean "signal is split between the pc and a pair of Creative Inspire T10 speaker"?" The USB goes into the computer DAW or whatever, and the RCA plugs go into the Creative Inspire T10 speakers
  6. Hey Fretless thanks for your reply. Ok, so what I am trying to achieve is to plug in my electric guitar into my computer and actually hear it while I am playing/recording, either through the speakers or through headphones. In other words, I don't want to plug my guitar into the pc and strum without hearing any sound at all. I do have both a speaker out and a line out on my amp, but I know plugging that into my pc... is not going to happen!
  7. If it's running fine solo, without the pc hookup and not crashing, then I would have the power supply on the POD checked out/replaced. Other than that... are you running the power straight from the wall into the POD (Not attached to a strip)?
  8. So I have a setup where I am pumping my guitar signal into a M-Audio USB FastTrack. The signal is split between the pc and a pair of Creative Inspire T10 speakers Specifications: 5 watts RMS per channel Signal-to-Noise Ratio: 80dB Frequency Response: 80Hz - 20kHz Previously I had a pair of M-Audio Studiophile AV20. Sorry can't seem to find the specs for those. Anyways I guess the M-Audio speakers blew the amplifier inside. My question is there any way to prevent another blowout? How loud can I go with these monitors/speakers? Yeah I can do headphones with the Fast Trac
  9. I'm trying to recover my password over at the community.learnandmaster.com, but apparently the captcha system is down...anyone have a clue as to who I can contact?
