Kirk Hammett interview about his 1959 Les Paul, "Greenie"

An interesting interview with Kirk Hammett regarding "Greenie", the 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard famously originally owned by Peter Green who sold it to Gary Moore. 

Many of us have seen the rumors about his paying $2 million dollars for the guitar.  I can't remember exactly what he said in the interview but to some extent he dismissed this.  Although I'm sure he paid a significant amount since the investor selling it bought it for reportedly between $750,000 and $1.2 million.

Also interesting is how his house was threatened by the California fires and how he sent his wife in to get his guitars! He gave her a list!

It's the only way I would get them.  I know what would happen if I gave my wife a list of which ones to get!!!!!!!
