Hey i am struggling with chords combined with fill-ins / little runs between chords. I often not can hold rythm when trying to put extra notes in between chords while playing. Or in own songs not get the "right" notes to stay at the sound of the song.

Can someone give advice?? Or tip? Or something that can help me?

Jck - I am sure you will get lots of advice - here is what I would do. I would set my metronome at a painfully slow speed (mine speaks to me ('one and two and three and four', etc.) and try to work out your rhythm pattern very slowly. Once your fingers have mastered things at a slow pace, gradually speed things up.

Whenever I am having trouble getting something down, it is almost always the case that I am trying to do it too quickly without having mastered the specific technique.

Good luck!

Thank you Jck for asking this question. I've been struggling  with this for some time.

Thank you Dave White and Blue Dog for the great tips and links.
