Major scale

Hello

I started to learn on guitar, so I want to start with C Major scale, I have this image and I am learning the major scale but I am not sure if I place correct finger (left hand) on the strings. I understand the diagram, but I did not see how to play it, I just heard it and see the diagram. But I cannot post attachment now so I will add the link only:

the bottom number = fret position 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 

8th fret 6th string is the C note at that Octave. the C major scale can be played at multiple points. 

In your example, you just follow along playing C D E F G A B C then it keeps going down to all six strings

start at the top Bass 6th string (Lo E string) play those three notes  C D E 

then 5th string F G A 

BC and EF are the naturally occurring half whole notes in the C major scale intervals as I understand.

C Starts the scale and ends the Scale

Scales are good practice. however they are the cornerstone of a good solo.

Thank you for your response. Are you suggesting to use one finger? I thought I should use four fingers. Naturally I felt like to put my

2-index finger on the B note (E2 string),

3-middle finger on the C note (E2 string),

4-pinky on the D note (E2 string).

The B string is not part of the C major scale, but I started on this string because I see the same pattern there. I see that I memorized the first two strings correctly, and on the next two strings I made a mistake, there the middle finger is not used, but the ring finger. Can you just confirm if I have the finger positions correct?
