There have been a couple posts on here recently asking direction on purchasing an acoustic guitar.  I don't think those posts were actually asking about beginner guitars.  But I saw this article and thought it might be of interest to some that are considering a "starter/beginner" acoustic guitar.

I'm surprised they don't list any of the Godin guitars such as the Art & Lutherie that was mentioned in another thread...or a low end Seagull guitar. Great topic--definitely one that will help newbies! :)

I have the Yamaha FG800 and I love it.  I recommend you go play this if you are in the market.
