  1. It seems you have an odd set of posting here in a Guitar Forum.

our main focus is guitar playing, getting better at music and for some learning to play gig's (which I can attest is very difficult)

this is not a forum on AI song stealing and in this case a discussion on how to become a DJ.

If you want DJ advice.. go to Guitar Center .com and type in DJ equipment. you'd get lots of gear and price points to choose from.

nobody uses 'records' in DJ'ing any more

and Guitar Center search will provide you help on your quest.

  2. @Anon session 9 marks the main learning of this course

after this session is as Steve calls it “Tools” for your tool belt

they start working on specific types of playing

session 10 fingerstyle is quite the ‘rabbit hole’ most get the feeling of 10 to return later as opposed to mastering it

Sessions 11-20 expand of styles like jazz and rock.

  3. @Archiguitarchi I just listened to the 2 demos on their website.

sounds like a very bright solid state amp.
maybe don’t use your bridge pickup

and maybe roll back the guitar tone knobs

most hearing aid places just like clicking on the hearing chart sound chart but that doesn’t necessarily mean you get good quality sound.

you might be hearing highs for the first time in a long time so sounds bright

or maybe your aids are boosting the highs too much

    Talk to the aid dispenser

  4. Knowing theory is head and shoulders above many

having more than 1hr play time is biggie too

I too have a lot of TrueFire courses. I find them only marginally better than the standard YouTube video

the lessons jump around a lot even when it’s a series of the same instructor

SRV slap rhythm playing is tricky

I suggest simpler style of playing songs first

  5. far from a gumdrop house on a lollipop lane.

at age 6 he was playing full Jimi Hendrix songs..

I've been a huge fan of Joe Bonamassa since 2006.

I've never had a 'band crush' in all my growing up years, but when I heard Joe.. something stirs inside and makes me want to play guitar.

I've been to 10 concerts from 2011-2019.. in 2 different countries, 2 different provinces/states and 7 different cities

I've met him 4 times.. he is a guitar nerd if you get to talk to him

he has 28 albums out.. only nominated 5 times and has lost every time..

He does 245 shows a year, mostly 3500-5000 seat theatres.

He played live at the Grammy's this past weekend (one of the only live performances at the Grammy's) at the non-broadcast at 4pm EST.
