  1. In choir I had at least 1 choir director on a very loud 12 string, sometimes a second 12 string would join us

lots of times I’d play same chords they were , my cedar/cherry wood was warmer and lower sounding, filled in areas of sound the 12’s couldn’t

or I’d play barre chords up the neck for different tones

  2. Buddy here at work keeps yelling Caged, CAged , CAGED, at me

Claims it opens up the feet board

so i checked a number of YouTube videos on it. They all said if you know barre chords you know the caged system

and go on to teach barre chords

Or when they say “use the A shape up here on the X fret” , I get confused, just tell me what chord you need .

ive found very little help in these videos on caged

but I ran into this guy’s lesson and I say I learned a lot connecting chords to pentatonic scales

  3. PRS can be as pricey as any Gibson.

the SE line there is a couple of peers on the forum. Is the same as Epiphone Les Paul in price range

you can get Gibson Les Paul’s under 2k as can PRS, just check Guitar Center

  4. It’s sad Steve doesn’t get any revenue for the course he wrote and “stared” in

almost like he signed a ‘standard’ 1960’s music contract, signed over all his rights

needs to revamp it under himself

Legacy is gone , but Steve still works with us to make us better

Steve's fingerstyle course, which I'd hoped to finish by July.  It's tough but good (Doug, did you ever finish?)

not to 'steal' the thread.. but sadly no.. I'm one of those "bad" LMG students that never finished. In LMG hit around session 15 (skimmed most of the theory parts) got tied up with 600 church masses over 5yrs.. then Fingerstyle completed Session 3 for the Fall Retreat . . Went back to concentrate on blue rock songs so I can get into a local jam night. . still working on that

  6. “Standard “ story of most LMG students

family and jobs get in the way

once you get some “breathing room “ you pick it up again

the LMG. As you know is great, may even use it as a refresher

Steve does live lessons “most “ Tuesday check the Live Lessons link at the top. Years of great lessons there
