  2. That good ship and true was a bone to be chewed. The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald, the song doesn’t follow the usual rhyming schemes. Until today I didn’t know there were rhyming schemes like AAAA, ABAB and XXXX. I like how Gordon Lightfoot used “true” when most would have used crew. He had a similar line later.
