Hi all.  I haven’t been on here in a long time but I’m still part of this wonderful guitar family since 2012.

I played guitar from 9 years old until 29 years old and stopped.  I started again in 2012 when I discovered Steve Krenz!

Here is my question.  I have a bad Habit of holding the neck of my guitar like a baseball bat.  I always have the first knuckles of the inside of my left hand on the bottom of the neck.  I use it like an anchor. When I try not to, I can’t play.  What can I do to break this habit?

Thanks, for your help!

Thumb in middle back of the neck pointing towards the turners,

That should force the "air gap" Steve always talks about
