Thanks Jaykay, this piece is one of a few that are relatively simple in their construction but near impossible to play perfectly. I use it as a guide as to how my playing is improving.(or not!) the way I play the section you are referring to is not perfect and I doubt it ever will be. So just take it slow and let it build speed naturally, starting the phrase on the correct finger is the key to keeping it smooth. (I think, I’ll let you know for sure if I ever get it right. :-). Here is a piece to get the ball rolling. It’s by Tarrega and it is called Adalita. It is a constant work in progress for me, and a fall back piece if I’m running out of ideas at a wedding. I hope you enjoy it.
