Hello all.

I began playing the guitar over a year ago but had to quit after a short period due to getting tendonitis in both wrists.

I've tried everything to make it go away, but nothing seems to make it any better, and I suspect I'll have to deal with it for a long time.

I really really want to make songs and it kills me every day that I'm not able to do that due to the situation I'm locked into.

However, I've managed to make a setup that allows me to type and use a mouse with my feet. In other words, I'm able to use a computer.

That leads me to the idea that I may be able to make songs on the computer, without having to touch any instruments at all.

So I wonder if it is possible to make songs on Logic Pro without using any physical instruments (including MIDI keyboards) in the process?

@lebapiv Logic Pro has an array of software instruments you can use to create tracks. GarageBand does as well, and might be a simpler entry path. From what you describe, I would investigate ways to use voice-activated commands wherever possible (Windows: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-speech-recognition-commands-9d25ef36-994d-f367-a81a-a326160128c7) (Mac: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210539). Yours is a special needs situation, and I wish I could be of greater assistance.

I'm sure that LogicPro and other programs can be used to create loops, chord progressions and such.

Don't let anything stop you from making music.  Find a way to express yourself and the music you want to create.

Just some thoughts. - Steve
