  1. matonanjin Thank you for your response, this is exactly what I was looking for.
  2. Hi Steve, First, thanks to everyone for their response to my questions. I am working my way through the Learn and Master course, and have been for the past 12 months or so. I'm on lesson 9. I am not a fast learner by any means, but I'm in no hurry either. I play/practice every day, its a great hobby and relaxes me after work. By the way, thanks for a great course! While I may never master the guitar, I am having a blast trying to. I was looking for something to supplement that course with actual songs, but didn't want a book that simply taught strumming to accompany vocals with a few licks thrown in. Instrumentals is what we called them when I was young, but then we didn't have tabs either. I primarily flat pick fiddle tunes, and I like old timey/mountain music AKA Doc Watson, but I like most guitar music except metal (never got into hard rock). I've worked my way through the first two volumes of flatpick.com's essentials course and I'm working on volume three. I go back and forth between the two courses. I like pop/rock & roll from the 50s, 60s and early 70s both acoustic and electric. I'm not sure of any music I don't like except for hard rock/metal and I even like some of that. Thank you for responding, and please let me know if you think the pop songs or even the rock songs would be good.
  3. Hi, For those of you who purchased the learn and master song hits, What does this really teach? Description is simply it teaches the songs, but that can mean a lot of things. I am looking to learn instrumentals for the guitar, not vocals. Trying to decide if this is what I want or not. Thank you
