Started at the age of 49 with weekly lessons for 6 years.  Lessons included music theory, blues, rock and basic jazz.  Stopped the lessons because I reached a plateau and needed to apply what I learned to more songs and have more playing experience.  Have been playing mostly alone except for an occasional get together with a friend.  Have been making an occasional appearances at an assisted living facility playing jazz standards and accompanying a buddy with his own songs.  I would like to be able to play more songs without relying on sight reading and improvise with the jazz standards.  My guitars include an acoustic (Taylor 310) and two electric guitars, a Fender Telecaster and an Epiphone Joe Pass hollow body.  Amplifiers include a Fender 65 Princeton Reissue and a Fishman Mini Loudbox.
