Well, I did it again! Here is my new Limited Release ES-330:
Closeup of the body:
Just a plain head stock:
And the back
I picked it up used but you wouldn't know it. Someone sold this to Guitar Center in Cincinnati, OH on Christmas Eve. They originally purchased it from Sweetwater because the checklist was still in the case. The only problem I found was that the nut slots were cut too low. I don't know if it came from the factory that way or the previous owner lowered them. I used the superglue/bone dust trick to raise the slots. I purchased a set of the nut files that Greg Voros recommends and re-cut them to the proper height. It plays like a dream now!

p.s. My daughter got a nice DSLR camera for Christmas so I borrowed it to take more professional looking pictures. If I could just get the creases out of my backdrop it may look like I know what I'm doing!

Learn & Master was owned by another company that Steve originally worked with to produce the course. They kind of stopped caring about the message board and it was falling apart. Guitar Gathering is owned by Steve and so it is VERY WELL maintained. This is the place to be now!

Congratulations! Sometimes you can find really great used guitars. It looks like you succeeded!

I actually almost purchased a Firebird X. I sat down and played it. It had ALL of the accessories (and there are a lot - as I remember there were 4 bags that came with it). I decided to buy it and they started ringing me up. They couldn't get the computer to accept the purchase. Then they realized that the guitar was already sold. It should have never been out on the floor. Missed it by THIS much!

Another New Used Guitar Day for me! Here is my 2017 ES-275 P-90 VOS Limited Edition:
It's a 2017 but it looks like new. No scratches or dents at all! It's a hollow body with P-90s - a combo that I didn't have previously. It's a pretty plain top too:
It has the cool 1940s look to it. It even used the old logo on the head stock:
It's got a pretty back too!
I don't know if it is me or not, but the MHS P-90s seem to be quieter than other Gibson P-90s I own. All in all, this is a GREAT guitar!

I also vote for an advanced posted schedule! It would help me out.

I scored 5 of 8. I guess that is why I own Gibsons!

Congratulations!!! That is a nice guitar! I LOVE Gibson electric guitars but don't care much for Gibson acoustics. I think Taylor makes the best acoustic guitars. Enjoy it - I'm sure it is a GREAT guitar!

It's been a while since I bought a new Gibson so I guess that it is time, right? This isn't actually a new Gibson, but it is in pretty good shape. Here is my latest - a 2015 Gibson Les Paul ES in Cobra Burst:
I've been looking for one of these since it came out. I absolutely LOVE the Cobra Burst finish.
It's a 2015 but it is in GREAT shape. It is a semi-hollow body guitar in a Les Paul size. It is VERY light. I haven't put it on a scale but I'm guessing it's around 7-8 lbs.
It didn't show up very well in the picture, but you can see the wood grain on the back. This is one beautiful guitar. The best part - my wife bought it for me as a wedding anniversary present!

Congratulations! That is a GREAT guitar!
Bonus points for being from Belgium. One of my favorite cities in the world is Brugge!

Oooh, I like that one! The only problem is that it is backwards!

I love the NYXL strings. I spent two days changing strings a couple of weekends ago and changed almost all of my guitars to NYXLs (until I ran out). They are my favorite strings right now. The only other set I've been impressed with lately is a set I got from Stringjoy.

Special thanks to Greg Voros and BWillard (our resident Gibson expert and passionate collector) for their valued opinions on this.
I don't know about "expert" but I'm glad you were able to grab this one. It is a bit different from the ES-335 but I do LOVE mine! Congratulations!!!

Your guitars have a website?!?
They are slowly taking over.

That page must be incomplete. Where are all the non-Gibsons?
My daughter and wife both mentioned the same thing. I'll have to add my Taylor.
QuoteVery nice collection
Thank you!

So in the new forum I can't display a list of my guitars (too long for the signature) so I created a website for my guitars. You can click on the My Guitars link below in my signature. It is a work in progress and I'm missing quite a few pictures. It was a fun little project to work on. I showed my wife last night and she was impressed that she was mentioned so many times. She even sent a link to one of her co-workers. Is that license to get another one?
Let me know if you see any errors.

No, I'm of Danish and Norwegian descent. I do like the color however!
I plan on it. Thanks!
