  1. Someone on here, months ago in a thread about picks over at our old home, turned me on to V-Picks. I'm not going to give credit to who I think it was because I will probably be wrong about who it was. But the bottom line is that I never thought I would would like a pick as thick as the "Screamer" and now that is almost all I use. The only other one I use, mostly for strumming, is the "Tradition Lite". This is not to say all V-Picks has is thick ones. That have all thickness, materials and styles of picks. But very likely their most popular product is the "Screamer". With that in mind they currently have a sale on their Starter Kit which includes 7 of their picks of varying thickness and style: Small Pointed Lite -1.5mm Tradition Lite – 1.5mm Tradition Ultra Lite – .8mm Medium Round – 2.75mm Medium Pointed – 2.75mm Medium Pointed Ultra Lite – .8mm Screamer – 2.75mm Normally, this kit is $28. On the sale it is $19.95. V-Picks are not cheap. But if one wants to try them this is a good way to sample them and save a few bucks.
