Started playing at 13, took a few lessons but didn’t really understand how or what to practice. I learned my open chords and power chords, and friends showed me a few things..but I quit playing at 19 due to life happening. Fast forward 18 years, and I finally get a decent guitar and get back into it, and find some cool stuff on YouTube, but then I found this dvd course with Steve Krenz, and I’m still working on that learning and mastering. I’ve come a long way and have learned to enjoy the journey more. I kinda went through a period of buying and selling gear, and at one point I had a total of 13 guitars, but I’ve pared it down a little. I now have 8. 4 acoustics including a 12 string, and 4 electrics. Currently just one amp head/cab, a cheap practice amp, and a Pignose.
