Playing guitar was a bucket list item of mine for many years. Following the first of two knee replacements, I finally set out to explore learning to play.  Back then I researched and purchased Gibson's L&M Guitar with Steve Krenz. Now, a little more than 15 years later, I have gone the route of many wanna-bees. Learn a little, forget a bunch. Take some lessons, stop taking lessons. Buy a good program and start only to stop. Excuses? Of course. In a nutshell, life. Kids, jobs, vacations, church, surgeries, deaths, births to mention a few. However, over the past couple of years I have picked up my playing & practicing more than ignoring it. A HUGE difference has been involvement with the praise team at church. My hunger and thirst to become competent in my playing in order to be more useful with the praise team has become my main motivator which makes practice and performing a lot of fun. I've followed Steve on FB & YouTube for a number of years and have made the decision to proceed and focus on his teachings and programs and see what the Lord has in store.
