About Me
I started following Steve in 2012 when I decided to pick up a guitar again after 30 years. I made the right choice in purchasing Learn and Master Guitar - I was hooked. There was a learning curve, because stuff doesn't work as well in your 50s as it once did, but eventually I remembered why I loved playing in the first place. At some point I also dove into Learn and Master Fingerstyle Guitar, as that along with classical guitar has always been my interest. I have a Taylor 322e, a Codorba Dolce, a Deering Goodtime Banjo (I love me some banjo!) and a vintage 60's Harmony electric hollow body that my wonderful husband took on as a project. I live about 60 miles north of Tampa, FL on a very small farm with DH, Bob. We grow a lot of our own food, and share space with Shawnee (Tennessee Walker), Malachi (donkey), Belle (Yellow Lab) and two budgies, Chester and Joey. After 21 years as a dental office practice administrator, I continue to work for the office at home part-time as their chief number nerd and make sure that the bills - and the dental team - get paid. When I'm not practicing, farming or using a calculator, I like to cook, paint with water colors and read.
