I was looking through some old acoustic guitar magazines and came across this song. I am a little confused because it has Joan  placing a capo on the first fret and then the music tab has her playing notes on the first fret.

It actually looks like a good beginner fingerstyle song.

If She has the capo on the first fret . then the second fret is the first fret.

I like to view a full capo as a moveable nut with an additional change in your "open" tunings.
