The Live Lesson with Robben Ford is Tuesday, like all Live Lessons, at 7 PM.

See you there.

- there an easy way to transition from single note runs to chords and back to single notes as so often found in blues songs without making them seem choppy transitioning?.

-steve has talked about this before,  but, What's your take to make pentatonic scales sound more musical then just running up or down a couple of notes at a time? (Guess I'm talking rhythmic here)

and adding the "blue note" to them?

Gear question for Robben; I ve noticed Robben playing several different styles / types / makes of guitars, from Tele's , Les Paul's to ES335's etc.. Does he have a favorite for blues / jazz or does he choose according to the sound he wants to get for a particular song?

Another gear question for Robben. Does he still have the Fender Esprits and if so, why does not favor them anymore. Thx!

If Steve could tell him hello from me that would be amazing! I met Robben when he was in Montreal many, many years ago one his tour backing the 1st "Blue Mile" record. We had a drink together at the club where his concert was, "Club Soda". Never forget it. He was so cool to chat with and is such a humble guy. I've been a fan since his Minor Elegance days!

Robben,

1)  What are your favorite arpeggios that you like to teach intermediate guitar students?

2)  Could you discuss harmonic minor scale and diminished scale patterns and how to use them?

3)  Which of your videos best teaches these subjects and has print outs?  I really need to see a pattern printed out when I study these things.

Thank you, George Howard

My Internet went out yesterday. When is this going up on YouTube? I've been hoping for years that Steve would have Robben Ford on since he lives in Nashville.

@JackEBlue Im not sure if you are referring to a brief black out period during the show.. Unfortunately there were some technical challeges (one of the crew tripped on a camera cable and Robbens mic was pulling out of place causing muffled audio).

If you missed the show a editted version will be available on our YouTube channel in a few days.
