I am trying to decide between and American Pro Tele and an American Pro Plus  Tele Any advice or thoughts?

I have a Les Paul Studio and am looking to add to the collection.

I bought an American Pro last year, natural finish with a rosewood board. Absolutely love it. Great tone as you would expect if you like teles, but the neck may be my favorite feature. It's like it was made for my hand. I'm not familiar with a Pro Plus, so I can't offer a comparison.

I don't own an American Professional Tele, but have played them in stores and think they are pretty Awesome Guitars.  I'd buy one in a minute but have too many guitars already (according to my wife).

I'm not familiar with an American Professional Plus and the only time the word "Plus" appears in a search of Fenders website it refers to plus tops on a couple of Mexican Strats.

Its possible the "Plus" is a special run for one of the big retailers that offers something on an AmPro that other retailers don't have,  but there is no American Professional Plus listed on the Fender site.

If you've played the AmPro and like it, I'd say go for it.  Like Mike, the neck and frets on the AmPro are amazing for me.

guys....thanks for the responses. The plus has three pickups and is $50 less than the pro. The plus is a limited run. I am not worried about the $50.  I cannot seem to get a satisfactory answer at the store.

Can't go wrong with just about any Telecaster really. For me, the deal is sealed if the neck is comfy. I bought a Player Series Telecaster because the neck fit me as if it was made for me. I had enough money left over from the purchase, that now I'm modding the crap out of it.

Ah, that would make it easy for me as something of a purist (or troglodyte, depending on your perspective)and like my guitars to conform to tradition.  So a Tele should have 2 single coils or its not quite a Tele to me.

Wowza!  That's exactly the model I would have chosen for myself.  Love that Blonde look!

Congrats!

Nice! Blondes are great!

It sounds great and the maple fingerboard is smooth!
