Session 20 of the Learn and Master Guitar, Completed!

Well, I made through all 20 lessons  Learn and Master Guitar!

I want to thank you, @Steve Krenz for putting together such a wonderful, well thought out, and educational course. Your guitar course is hands down the best guitar learning course out there!!! 

I started Steve's guitar course many years ago and never expected to get this much out of one course. It has been an amazing adventure.  

I began playing the drums in high school, well Jr High first then decided I would like to learn the guitar as well. I started learning guitar, (i guess i was in my twenties) had a teacher for a year or so, i might add he taught me the bass along side the guitar and then life its you. stop playing for a while, well off and on but never really got anywhere with it. Sure, i could play songs and new a lot of chords with the help of Mel Bay books, ha! But it wasn't going anywhere. It wasn't enough. So many years later, now in my forties i came across Steve's guitar course. I told myself, i'm going to stick to it this time and wow!!!! What an adventure it has been. Now after completing the course I see now this is just one step in many more to come. So much more to learn. I can't get enough.

I've since moved on to learning chicken picking, slide, and trying to emulate the pedal steel and fiddle sounds on the guitar.

Also, I would like to thank all of the people on this site. This is truly a great family. Thank you guys and gals!

I made a recording for session 20. I found a song I could Incorporate the B &E drone sounds. The song is called "Don't Ya", by Brett Eldredge.  I left out some of the vocals so you could possible hear the B and E drone sounds.

Again, Thank you all! Remember, Never give up and never stop learning!

Now that you've completed the course I hope you'll stay with us and continue to participate here as you have learned much and have a lot to share. 

My history is somewhat the same as your's so I hope some day in the not too distant future to join you in your accomplishment.

Thank you. I was going to start the blues course but instead i'm trying to learn chicken picking, pedal steel licks, etc. However i play a lot of blues, find fairly easy to pick up and the other is pretty challenging. what can i say, im a sucker for a challenge. lol
