I remember Chuck Berry performing on stage, but I am not sure if folks referred to his stage act as a “Duck Walk”. Chuck Berry surely started his career listening to the great Blues players. I read somewhere that Chuck Berry may have learned his trade from the blues players, but also  helped create “Rock and Roll” which didn’t help the Blues. Some claim he was the father of “Rock and Roll”. I’ll go with Marty McFly.😎
