Hi guys, so i have a hopefully only cosmetic issue with my guitar. On the back of the neck i noticed a split of the wood, might have been one time the guitar has been put to the side in the bag a tad to forcefully. There has not been a noticable change in sound as i recorded through an interface. I've been wondering if anyone has had experience with this type of problem, any wood filler and custom wood polish to cover the job as best as possible and remain sure that it's not any deeper issue. It's an Ibanez ORM-1 (signature model of Mars Volta's guitarist Omar Rodriguez Lopez). I would like to sell the piece in the best condition possible, because i found a fender strat to be a better fit for my hands and back in the day i bought the ibanez as more of a fan of aforementioned band.

Thanks on advance for any advice.

If the crack is stable, there may not be much you can do with it. Best to consult a Luther I think before doing anything with it
