Greg @gotto) has his band together and played his barbecue gig.  @Six String has been sharing with us about his blue rock group. @Eracer_Team-DougH is playing in his church group.   It's time to announce that I have my band together!  (Maybe my announcement is slightly premature?

I had shared earlier this year about my granddaughter, Malene, getting her new guitar for her birthday  (thanks to the fabulous repair work of @PatIam.)  Shortly after that Malene's brother and sister decided they want to play an instrument.

So here is the band!

(Yeah, I know.  A grandpa posting videos of his grand-kids.  Annoying.?? Humor me.

The importance of having Band-mates you enjoy hanging out with cannot be overstated and this is definitely a fun crew.

Fantastic, having the Grandkids playing together with Grandpa is the ultimate band. The kids will always remember that it was Grandpa who took the time to help them learn. Good luck and I can't wait for this first recording.

Woohoo, the best kind of band by far!  This will be a fun one to watch. Love it!. I have just a granddaughter and her uke...still trying to get her to jam with me. The others are just jocks.

This is great, Ron!  Enjoy it while you can.y 3 grand-kids and I played together one Christmas - guitar, drums, and clarinet for them and me on guitar.  Was a great time.  Now they are mostly teens and have lost interest in playing. Hope we can revive it in the future.

Aww Ron, that's great! I love the concentration on all of their faces. I love that Malene politely apologises when somebody knocks at the door. You know Trygg keeps better time than a lot of pro drummers, right?! And Torunn just looks so serious!

I can't wait to see their first band performance with grandad as band leader.

Cherish these memories.
