I came across this by chance and I thought this may be of interest to those of you who travel with your guitars. These are folding guitars Snap Dragon Folding Guitars They also do electric and bass guitars. They are affordable too!

If you are thinking of ordering and you live outside the UK or EU you need to read the FAQ section.

This is a really cool topic. :) Thank you for sharing, Mandy!

Among others, I came across a fantastic US based brand called Voyage Air Guitars.

Really cool feats of engineering that sound quite amazing! I think I would very much appreciate having a VAOM-3CG2 and maybe a VER-1 BELAIR. But I guess they're only available to American customers. Maybe when I get to visit the states I get to bring them home with me. ;)

Thanks, Mandy!  The big difference between this one and the other one we discussed not very long ago is this one is at a LOT more attractive price point!  for any of us on any sort of budget this one is probably going to be more realistic.

Thanks again.

Here's another cool sounding portable guitar by an European manufacturer. It's the Furch Little Jane. Here's a nice video showcasing how it sounds. ;)

I bought one of these ( less expensive model) from a local shop. kept it for a day, then returned it. The fretboard segments didn't line up flat, string buzzing everywhere and the intonation was way off. No way to correct it. Perhaps just a factory lemon, but a quick reject for me. Not necessarily an indictment on all of their products, just an experience of one.
