A slide/everything friend and I decided to put together a little closed Facebook group with the above reference title and invited a few friends to be part of our fun time playing group. We meet on Mondays outdoors, staying socially distanced and alternate plugged in and unplugged Mondays to play whatever we throw out on the wall to see what sticks. Different folks show up , depending on musical interests, although it appears there is mostly a hardcore group open to all musical forms. The bluegrass and country folks seem to like to stick to their genre. 

A couple weeks ago on Labor Day, 6 of us gathered and played at the slide players house driveway plugged in , and invited the neighbors to drop in if they wanted to listen. We had a great time for a couple hours before the smoke from the NW fires drifted in late. As we were near finishing, a local patrol car rolled up, and an officer stepped out with a smile and informed us someone in the neighborhood complained about the noise. He told us that he personally thought we were just fine and not too loud, but just be aware of the complaint, and we let him know we were almost done. When he left we all high fived each other-imagine us, a 60+ aged band of rebels getting called out by the local noise police. How cool was that!! I hope my grandkids are proud of me. Now, just need a name for this ragtag group of outlaws.....The Rocking Walker Chairs, or maybe The Defibrillators. So many possibilities.....I am open for suggestions.
